As a modern and customer-focused company, we have exactly the right offer for the different tastes of all guests. Anyone travelling on the motorway wants reliable, high-quality supplies and, last but not least, modern and varied meals on the road.

These are precisely the requirements combined in the range, where travellers can always find the same wide selection of classics such as schnitzel and currywurst, vegetarian alternatives such as falafel and take-away dishes in the Tank & Rast restaurants. Added to this are the BoxenStopp dishes, which are offered fresh and fast in a handy to-go box – also ideal for takeaway. Our range also includes a variety of hot and cold snacks as well as baked goods and coffee specialities. Tailored to the special needs of families, we regularly offer special menus at great value for money.

The quality of our mealtime offering is atop priority at Tank & Rast. The high and uniform quality requirements already begin with the selection of producers and the goods they provide. They also take effect at all other levels, starting with the transport of the goods and ending with the finished food.

COFFEE AND SNACKS

There are around 280 espresso bars in the Tank & Rast service network, including Segafredo, Coffee Fellows, Lavazza and Dallmayr. All coffee variations are of course also available to go.

SHOPPING

Guests can conveniently shop 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year in almost all filling stations and service stations in our service network. In addition to a wide range of hot and cold snacks as well as drinks to go, we keep fresh baked goods and other small items ready for our customers in the bakery shops at our service stations. At around 350 service stations, we also ensure that our customers can access the internet free of charge during their break and relax while checking their e-mails or following the news on their social media channels. We grant them 60 minutes of free use of the Telekom HotSpots on site

ELECTRIC MOBILITY

ELECTRIC MOBILITY IN THE TANK & RAST SERVICE NETWORK

For Tank & Rast, electric mobility is an important component of the future mobility landscape. To date, together with our partners EnBW, E.ON, IONITY and Mer, we have created around 1,400 charging points in our service network along the German motorway. We have thus established a nationwide fast charging network for long-distance traffic, which we will continue to densify in the coming years.

At our 360 petrol stations, more than 400 service stations, around 50 hotels and 19 truck stops and truck-friendly petrol stations throughout Germany, our employees work to ensure the well-being of our guests. Whether holidaymakers, business travellers, families, truck drivers or coach tour groups, we have just the right offering for all travellers. Offering great value for money is of the highest priority to us and our franchise partners.

FUELS

The motorway filling stations in Tank & Rast’s service network offer the entire range of branded fuels, alternative fuels such as LPG, high-quality engine oils and the exhaust-cleaning additive AdBlue®.

Tank & Rast has created a range of family-friendly services that includes service stations with “KidsCorner”, outdoor playgrounds or special mealtime promotions. Many service stations and filling stations also have baby changing facilities, highchairs and bottle warmers for our youngest guests.

SANIFAIR – CLEANLINESS AND COMFORT ON THE ROAD

SANIFAIR is Tank & Rast’s sanitary concept and stands for a clear service promise to our customers: high quality and hygiene standards through cleanliness, service and comfort of modern sanitary facilities at our service stations.

State-of-the-art technology is used in SANIFAIR facilities: taps, towel dispensers and WC flushes work touch-free, WC seats clean automatically and urinals are water-saving. Modern baby changing rooms, toilets accessible to disabled travellers and showers for frequent users round off our range of services. Qualified staff guarantee regular cleaning of the facilities and high hygiene standards.

Enter the world of SANIFAIR:

ACCESSIBILITY

Wheelchair-accessible entrances to our service areas and filling stations, toilets accessible to disabled travellers and parking spaces are standard almost everywhere. Our hotels also offer specially equipped rooms for wheelchair users. Of course, our service staff will also assist you at any time.

You can request a standard key to the accessible toilets in our SANIFAIR sanitary facilities from the Club Behinderter und ihrer Freunde e. V.

BUSINESS SERVICES – CONFERENCES AT THE MOTORWAY

SITE SEARCH AND ROUTE PLANNING – TRAVELLING SAFELY TO YOUR DESTINATION

As a leading service provider along the motorways, the issue of road safety is of particular importance to us. We are committed to greater safety on Germany’s roads. We provide all travellers with our free route planning service to help them plan their journey in advance. With this service, travellers can calculate the shortest and fastest route to their destination from home even before they start their journey, planning their breaks locations along the way. The location search also shows the nearest Tank & Rast service stations during the journey.

AUTOHÖFE – A WIDE RANGE OF SERVICES NEXT TO THE MOTORWAY

Tank & Rast also has a number of locations off the motorway. The range of products and services offered at our Autohöfe is especially geared to the needs of long-distance and frequent drivers. The parking spaces, some of which are guarded, ensure that long-distance drivers have a safe stay. A wide range of catering services at great value for money, shower facilities and washing and drying machines complete the offering. Of course, we also welcome guests from the region, holidaymakers, families with children and business travellers at our off-motorway service stations.

MOTORWAY HOTELS – ARRIVE, REST, DRIVE ON

For travellers and frequent drivers, we offer overnight accommodation in approximately 50 Tank & Rast motorway hotels. Our guests can expect modern, soundproofed rooms at competitive prices, safe parking spaces at their doorstep, as well as a rich mealtime offering in the hotel or in the adjacent service area. Our hotels also have family rooms and rooms for disabled guests.
